Funds to support the student-oriented activities of the Apple Tree Foundation will be obtained from direct donations, fundraising events and grants.
We accept donations 24/7/365 to help the students and teachers of Woodland’s public schools. We will provide appropriate documentation for all direct donations, and will notify families of memorial donations (without specifying an amount).
Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible as the Foundation is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations may be made by individuals, a family, a business or corporation, a nonprofit organization or another foundation.
Donor-designated gifts are also encouraged. If the donor wants his/her donation to go to a certain program, The Foundation will ensure that wish is honored.
Events to raise funds, such as Rocky and the Revellette’s 25th Reunion (Sept. 24, 2005), Nugget’s Best of the Barrel, (Oct.14, 2004) supported by Nugget Market, our Fall Raffle, the Academy Awards Night gala, (this year on Feb. 25, 2007), our Day of the Teacher Fundraiser and 2003’s Student Art Auction, will be scheduled from time to time as volunteer time allows.
If you wish to help with fundraising events, make a donation or help with submitting a grant application, please contact a board member, all of whom are volunteers.
Volunteer assistance will be greatly appreciated to produce fundraising events and grant applications. To support the work of the Apple Tree Foundation financially or with volunteer work, please contact any board member or e-mail the president or treasurer.
