In honor of The Day of the Teacher, May 12, 2004, The Apple Tree Foundation asked those who support students and teachers in the Woodland school district to consider making a donation. 100% of these donations will be given to support classroom activities via our Mini-Grant Program. Over $1,400 was raised in the spring of 2004. Thank you to more than a dozen individuals and businesses who made donations and to those unable to contribute now who sent their best wishes to the Foundation. We plan to make this an annual event with the support of the Daily Democrat, a major sponsor of the Apple Tree Foundation. |
